6 People Who Will Love Remote Organizing

Remote organizing sounds like a really weird idea at first. Don’t we need to, like, touch your stuff? The answer is no! Here are six people who will love collaborating remotely and asynchronously instead of in-person.

  1. People With Rowdy Pets

We love them to pieces, but pets can make obtaining in-home services challenging. Whether you have a recent rescue, an anxious animal, or a wild jumper, having a stranger come in to your home can be a no-go. There’s almost nothing more uncomfortable than trying to get through an appointment after finding out your service professional is…not a pet person. No need to apologize for barking, crotch-sniffing, or wet noses when you work with us remotely!

2. People Who Keep Non-Standard Hours

Maybe you work nights or variable shifts or just have a body clock that doesn’t line up with business hours. Trying to match your schedule to the rest of the world’s can feel impossible. Our asynchronous set up means you don’t have to worry about sending messages at 4am.

3. People with Small Kids

You’re $^%$ing tired, you get interrupted a bajillion times a day, and nap times are unpredictable. You know you need help, but the work involved in getting help is so overwhelming that continuing to hang on by your fingernails seems like the easier option. We’ve been there. Asynchronous collaboration means you can start a message at 10am and finish it 9pm if that’s how your day is going.

4. People Who Like Time to Think

Some of us don’t like being put on the spot, especially when discussing topics that might make us feel a little vulnerable. Or maybe you freeze when presented with a barrage of information. Whatever the reason, working remotely and asynchronously lets us take the rush out of the process. You don’t need to cram everything into a single hour. Our written proposals and project reports mean you can take all the time you need to reflect.

5. People Who Like Their Privacy

Maybe you just don’t like having people in your physical space or you’re trying to keep a in-person contact to minimum in these pandemic times. If you like a little distance, remote help will suit you fine. We don’t share your information outside our team or ask to publish client before and afters because your privacy and comfort are important to us. Not having to host a stranger might be the best advantage of working remotely!

6. People Who’d Rather Stab Themselves In The Neck With A Spoon Than Have Another Zoom Meeting

Sometimes you can’t bear the thought of spending an hour staring at yourself in the corner of the screen trying to have a genial conversation while your internet lags just enough to insure that you awkwardly talk over each other the whole time. Æsj. (That’s Norwegian for ick.) We won’t make you do face to face video calls. We set up our collaboration process to be fully asynchronous on purpose. Hooray!
